APCMA Awards here we come!!!!

Rushingwind & Mucklow along with The Native Groove Band will be heading to Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. September 10-14 2014. We will be performing at the awards show on September 11th, and then we walk the Red Carpet Friday Sept, 12th~~ 

Rushingwind & Mucklow is being nominated for Best Flute CD of the Year for their latest album "Strong Horse"

Practice makes perfect "The Rushingwind Project"

Practicing for the Los Angeles Arboretum on Friday Aug  8th. So much goes into a gig most people don't know about, however we love what we do!  I will be preparing for next week Aug 15-17th for the SunWatch flute music festival in Dayton Ohio will be performing 3 days :) hope to see many of you in Ohio!!!

Aboriginals Peoples Music Choice Awards APMCA / Indian Summer Music Awards ISMA

Our album Strong has to this date 6 songs and the album as a whole nominated~ We were finalist at the 2014 New Mexico Music Awards in May and now we are being nominated at the ISMA'S in Milwaukee WI  September 5-8,  2014 for 4 songs in 3 categories, & The SH album is being nominated in Canada at the APMCA, which we will be performing live at the awards show September 11, 2014 We will keep you posted.

  July 15th 2014~  Taking a breather and going to enjoy a break at the Ventura Beach this weekend to celebrate my wife & I 1st year anniversary ;)

   Here is some pics of what we have been up to. I just got back from Indiana where we did a Yoga/Music festival in Cloverdale IN what a blast we had~!  before that we were at Moab Utah where I was able to reunite with my eldest daughter who I haven'r seen in over 10 years! then we were off to Joshua Tree for a very super moon concert.

 R&M Rushingwind & Mucklow just found out a few days ago that besides having our album Strong Horse nominated in the APCMA (Canadian Music Awards) we are also having 4 songs from our album Strong Horse nominated in the ISMA (Indian Summer Music Awards) It just gets better!!

 While I was in Tennessee performing at the RNAFF Music fest, I was officially endorsed by Brent Haines of Woodsounds flute~ stay tuned for other cool news coming your way soon!!!  now for the pictures of my latest trip to Coverdale Indiana The Serendipity Yoga/Music Festival~~~

This was a highlight form my tour~!!!!

Summer 2014 Tour continues!!!

Just thought I would stop and take a breather from last weeks travels. We left LAX and landed in Indianapolis airport, picked up by Adam Riviere my percussionist and set out for Knoxville Tennessee. met up with Randy McGinnis and here we did a radio show called "The Blue Plate Special" WDVX 102.9 FM then that night we performed at the Square Room, downtown Knoxville, What a great place and people to work with! Walt Keale & Randy McGinnis opened the show for us, with tornado warnings brewing we still managed to perform our gig safely. Sometimes I think about changing my native name, Rushinwind seems to get us in trouble with wind related weather ;) here are a few pics from these gigs~~

Then we continued to Townsend TN the next day to do the RNAFF Music Festival. Here is a few pics from Friday & sunday;'s gig. 

We made a few great friends along the way, Walt Keale, Randy McGinnis just to mention a few and so many more! SO!, Rushingwind & the Native Groove will be heading to Indiana & Ohio soon so stay tuned for more exciting adnventure's from us~
